I know Leon probably didn’t have any interest in the woman that was knocked out or the guy she was with, but I still couldn’t help laughing when the latter rushed right in front of this monster, argued with Tiana, then slowly dragged the woman off like Leon wasn’t even there, lol

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

That part of the scene went on for so long, it was so awkward lol.

ChemicalMonkey • 1 year ago

The whole episode was awkward when you think about it. None of what happened made any sense at all. Leon busts into the place out of anger looking for Nick, decides to have a calm chat with Tiana for 5 minutes, gets electrocuted by her, throws a table to stop her, then stands still for 5 more minutes. Once the ducks finished crossing the road he goes for a swing and Nick show up...so he talks to his sword for a bit instead of just going after Nick and proceeds to completely ignore him the rest of the fight. Nick does Union and uses a garbage skill cause he must be to hot, then puts up ice walls that wouldn't stop even a normal monster but its all good cause Leon decided to trash the place instead. But uh oh, now its ok for Leon to kick the crap out of all of the civilians cause Union Nick/Tiana decide its time to just sit back and watch the show for awhile. This episode was written by someone with the worst case of ADHD in history.

CptDeadpool • 1 year ago

That's because they rewrote the whole thing, so far the only thing that was right was it's started out in the casino. Was way better in manga.

Abyss Fenrir • 1 year ago

This entire episode felt weird, yes the manga did it better, but the point is Tiana and Nick's "bond" made more sense in the manga, as well as realizing that the Idol was the wife of the bar owner (from the hostess' story, last episode). Also is it just me or was the animation kinda all over the place?

rap flare • 1 year ago

sorry but nick's idol is already married?

Ace Knight • 1 year ago

The bar owner was basically her boyfriend (or at least a guy she liked) but she drops him after this

Ori Klein • 1 year ago

He went infront of a giant monster and dragged her out of danger. And she dumps him?

Abyss Fenrir • 1 year ago

She had always been the partner of the bar owner.

dale rekt • 1 year ago

she's not married, but was in a relationship

Ohms Nuttachai • 1 year ago

Leon be like: "Will you drag her away already?"
Yeah. Correcting himself is more important for that guy than getting out there alive somehow.

Kyune • 1 year ago

It shows a lot though that Leon wasn't trying to kill innocents despite being in a cliche "oh no despair rage" state

Shadow • 1 year ago

Technically kitty has beef wih someone else, so they're allowed to do that.

Sprayquaza • 1 year ago

Leon taking notes from drax of GOTG

Dbz Directioner • 1 year ago

I think that Girl was that Idol Girl.

rap flare • 1 year ago

i am also confused with that..is she that idol?

Dbz Directioner • 1 year ago

Maybe we'll find that out in Next Episode.

Ken kaneki • 1 year ago

Kyune • 1 year ago

Better the Nick of Time instead of the Nick of Deez (which, in-universe they definitely could have just offed Leon and not given too much of a shit)

JadeJade • 1 year ago

Having a small studio and budget did NOT stop them from giving us such a banger of an ED

Dbz Directioner • 1 year ago

Totally. The Animation can be bit weird sometimes but other than that they are doing pretty good job.

dale rekt • 1 year ago

not just the animation, the story is weirder in anime... to much gotten re-writted

TenseiSensei • 1 year ago

I literally just said the exact same thing right before reading this

This anime’s ED is an absolute banger and honestly the animation that goes along with it fits and is pretty cute

It’s a really well executed ED for a series that I think is rather lackluster. Well, either the adaptation is lackluster or the series is. So far the plot hasn’t be particularly well done but I do think the concept wasn’t bad.

LesK • 1 year ago

small studio? you mean relatively NEW studio. myanimelist . net/anime/producer/1857/Geek_Toys

whityjack • 1 year ago

I was about to comment. It's precious beyond words and always puts me in a sad but good mood.

Ritsulove • 1 year ago

I laughed when hat girl got ran over by her own boyfriend. 😂

Another redemption arc of a character that I don't care about.

zo • 1 year ago

Me: Aww he isn't a bad person after all... meh, where the hell is Curran? lol

Chindian • 1 year ago

prob the reason why the icecream sold out lol

Ritsulove • 1 year ago

I don't know. This manga is teaching me a valuable lesson that everyone starts out good, and life turns them bad. 😢

xXPORTALXx • 1 year ago

Eh I think everyone starts out neutral, then the choices they make and the ones that are made for them slowly shape them into who they become. The same process can make either saint or monster, the only difference is the parameters.

Ritsulove • 1 year ago

That's a good observation. Isn't neutral "good" though (because you ain't messing with other people). That's honestly all that strangers ask from you (Don't steal their belongings or their spouse)

QuadL • 1 year ago

Neutral isn't Good, it's actually closer to bad (or evil) to be honest. For instance, you can be indifferent to the plight or boon of others as a neutral person. You will not be compelled to help those in need nor deny those who seek to do wrong. You will act on your own interests of course but do what is right in your own eyes as a matter of being. A neutral person could steal from whoever to survive and justify it pragmatically. They will be inclined to do good but only because it serves their own needs, wants, or desires.

Ritsulove • 1 year ago

Oh I get it, kind of like when people say "If You don't do anything to help, you're as bad as the person doing the crime because you let it happen"

wrong

Ritsulove • 1 year ago

Now you just sound like a try-hard idiotic contrarian.

Actually neutral is neutral, aka not good or bad, you're emotional morals and bias beliefs do not get to dictate the facts of that word.

Good and bad also is a stupid humans made up concept. I what what I want period and no one else matters, youre braindead if you think stealing is relevant , no human is relevant to me, so interests do not exist.

Ohms Nuttachai • 1 year ago

Demon Slayer does that all the time and it does a lot better

Faramir38 • 1 year ago

very boring dialogues and characters
got tired from the characters from the previous ep, his story should have ended last week

dale rekt • 1 year ago

the anime got re-writed so much, when i watch this episode... it feels weird. try the manga, maybe it'll make it a bit better

FraZz • 1 year ago

The quality and enjoyment of this anime dropped harder than a fking boulder.

It's so hard to watch this shit now, it's just extremely cringey and boring. What a big fking let down this anime turned out to be....

Crash Bandicoot • 1 year ago

its pretty bad

Maverick • 1 year ago

from what I've noticed from previous ep to or before this, they've skipped many details. The part the mc went all through the trouble exploring a cave. The gambling addict mage was also with him that time but tells her to do her part of the plan to help with the entrapment operation. He also engaged what looked like a werewolf of similar mass and height to him, as form of training against his fight against that overgrown cat. What's surprising about the wolfman is he never used fangs or claws but fisticuffs (he must have a sense of pride as a fighter too, respecting the mc).

A raging beast in turmoil with his own conscious & ethics vs [primal] instincts is just a rabid animal waiting to be put out of misery. Living confused while suffering like that is just torture. However, I can appreciate the remaining consciousness in Leon to seek help, even from someone he hates. It only proves he still have a shred of dignity left as a person
